For female customers whom often shop for clothing and cosmetics .

3. What are the good attributes of the site? (in terms of usability, aesthetic issue, etc.)

The web is able to link users to the other categories via the tabs above without any problems.

4. What are the bad attributes of the site?

It has a pretty boring sort of theme for it only mainly consist of colors, and doesn’t show much pictures that liven the website slightly. Neither are there pictures to show the users their products. The fonts they chose are all san-serifs, even for the heading. San-seriffs are easy to read…but for the heading, perhaps a serif font should be used instead to decorate the site that small bit.

At least that’s what I see from the first paragraph of the article…

The author then emphasized on the process and what’s going to happen. As far as I can process the message, I think the pointers are pretty vivid for starters, and are generally clear for almost anyone to understand. For instance, the instructional design process, he just listed out 5 words:

- Analyze
- Design
- Develop
- Implement
- Evaluate

I believe those 5 words, together can allow people to receive the message the author’s trying to convey…despite having an error link above it.

This is the message I get from the above 5 words…

- Analyze who you are targeting, and what’s popular amongst them for the website you’re designing.

- Design a website accordingly to the research you’ve done.

- Your first design would most probably be a draft, thus, you’ll need to further develop on your website design to make it more ideal for the users.

- Implement. You’ll have to carry it out as if it’s done. Let it show on your monitor and evaluate on areas you can improve on or decided that the design is perfect for usage.

Well, that’s my opinion. The message I processed may not be aligned perfectly with the author’s views, but I believe the meaning is not all that different. The same goes with the rest of the article. The author used simple words to deliver his points. Although there are parts that’s going to require some time for undertanding. Hence, I think this whole article can be a good guide for anybody to follow.

They are colors that the browsers are using within them that thus far, have yet to pose any problems to any users.

Yes, it is. Today, browsers still require colors to depict importance of certain subjects and to make things easier to be browsed through. Hence, browser-safe color palette/web-safe colors are a necessity and are relevant in today’s context.

Arial, Times New Roman, Impact, Georgia, Tahoma,  Verdana.

4. What is page loading time and how it influence your design?

Page loading time is the amount of time spent to load a web page.  If one have a slow loading time, then he/she would not be able to produce a picture intensive website, or a website with picture that takes up too much space either due to the resolution or the complexity of the picture.
